All Saints Church - 3560 Kings River Rd., Pawleys Island
Step into the past when you visit the original All Saints Church. A quaint, beautiful church and graveyard with headstones dating back to the late seventeenth century. beneath moss draped oaks. A quaint location to visit for anyone interested in historic Pawleys and its famous ghosts. You'll find ample parking just across the street in the main church parking lot.
Atalaya Castle - Located inside Huntington Beach State Park. A Spanish-Moorish style compound and the winter getaway of the renowned sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington and her husband Archer Huntington in the 1930’s.
Brookgreen Gardens - 1931 Brookgreen Dr., Murrells Inlet
A breathtaking must see! This National Historic Site contains the country's largest and most extensive sculpture collection of American Figurative Sculpture, most displayed in the beautiful gardens. Also home to the Lowcountry Zoo, featuring animals native to our area. Great place to stroll, picnic and photograph nature. Huntington Beach State Park - 16148 Ocean Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet
A few minutes up the road you will find the state park inhabited by alligators, sea turtles, birds and more. With a beach, wetlands and viewing dock, you can spend hours wandering around enjoying the nature the park has to offer. Ranger station/gift shop and restrooms on site. This is also home to the Atalaya Castle. There is an entrance fee.
Murrells Inlet Marshwalk - Murrells Inlet waterfront
The MarshWalk, located in the heart of the historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet is a ½ mile wooden boardwalk along a natural saltwater estuary. Enjoy waterfront dining, live music nightly, water sports, charter fishing, sightseeing tours, kayaking, shopping and seasonal local events – all along on the MarshWalk. This small sanctuary sits on the marsh side of Pawleys Island with gorgeous views and one of our favorite spots to watch the sunset.
